The levies

Well these are photos of the damaged and rebuilt levies in New Orleans which caused a lot of the devastation, especially in the lower income areas.. Not all of New Orleans is below sea level and I believe the deepest parts are only about 10 feet below sea level. While driving you can see houses that were demolished and drive up the street (going up in altitude) and see no damage. Most of the houses have water lines still on them.
